My own wrist band pattern! and my first knitted item posted online.

I orignally knitted the wristbands out of "stitch and bitch" and used a skull pattern from "stitch and bitch nation" and I though the top and bottoms looked too ruffled by the 2x2 ribbing. sooooo.... I made my own pattern, and my own design.

I used knitting graph paper to construct the skull guy - and knitted the thing of 3.5mm with cheapo acrilyic yarn.
Looks so 80's! ^______^


The pattern:

Worsted Weight yarn (I used cheap-o Phentex Merit) 2 colours: black and white
3.5mm (US4) or whatever to get the gage
Gage= 24 stitches and 32 rows = 4inches

Work 3 rows of 1x1 ribbing (*K1, P1* repeat)
row 4 - purl
row 5 - K13, K following chart (13 stitches), K11
continue working the chart in ST stitch until chart is completed
Work 1 row of ST stitch
Work 2 rows of 1x1 ribbing (*K1, P1* repeat)

Matress stitch up the seams
